Unveiling Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 Soundtrack: A Perfect Blend of New and Classic Tunes

We now have our first taste of what songs will be included on Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4. As with the previous remake Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2, it features a mix of some of the most notable songs from the two games featured on it, as well as some new additions.

As you can see for yourself on the official Spotify playlist, the soundtrack has a number of songs you might remember from Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and 4, such as Ace of Spades by Motorhead, 96 Quite Bitter Beings by CKY, Amoeba by Adolescents, and my personal favorite, Not the Same by Bodyjar. Publisher Activision has sprinkled in some new tracks as well, including Real Thing by Turnstile, End It by New Wage Slavery, and Collard Greens by Schoolboy Q and Kendrick Lamar.

Overall, it’s a nice merging of genres and eras of music, which is typical for the soundtracks of the classic Tony Hawk games. This initial sprinkling of songs is just the opening salvo, as Activision says the playlist will be updated multiple times in the lead-up to the release of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4, so keep an eye on it.

Initially revealed earlier in March, the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 remake releases on July 11 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and PC. As we go over in our guide, it’s coming to Game Pass on day one, and will feature a mix of old and new skaters, with the notable omission of Bam Margera. The remake will totally rework the gameplay of the fourth entry to correspond to its classic two-minute objective format rather than the open exploration that it pioneered for the series. It’s unclear if the levels or objectives will be changed as well to make this transition more smooth.
