JetBlue Unveils Super Mario-Themed Airplane
JetBlue recently revealed a special livery plane featuring characters from the iconic video game Super Mario. The Airbus A320 showcases Mario, Princess Peach, Luigi, Bowser, Donkey Kong, and Yoshi in a colorful design that includes the signature blue and red color scheme from the game. Passengers can enjoy in-flight surprises connected to the beloved Nintendo franchise.
The aircraft, named “Cloudtop Cruiser” as a nod to Super Mario, has already flown between Boston, MA and Cancun, Mexico, as well as between Boston, MA and Orlando, FL. JetBlue promises special treats for passengers, including a greeting from Mario on the in-flight entertainment system.
This collaboration with Nintendo is not the first for JetBlue, which has previously hosted a Nintendo Switch pop-up at New York’s JFK Airport. The airline is known for its creative airplane liveries, having featured sports teams like the Boston Bruins, Boston Celtics, and New York Jets.
JetBlue continues to expand its route network, offering new flights from JFK to San Pedro Sula, Honduras, and from LaGuardia to Tampa, FL. Keep an eye out for tail number N561JB to experience the magic of the Super Mario-themed airplane on your next flight.
