The system requirements for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater have been unveiled. The minimum specifications call for an RTX 2060 Super graphics card, similar to The Great Troy Bake Off. Despite the RTX requirement, producer Noriaki Okamura clarified last year that the game does not include ray tracing features. The RTX requirement is likely due to Unreal 5’s Lumen lighting technology.
Below are the full system requirements:
Minimum:
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows® 10, Windows® 11 (64-bit OS required)
- Processor: Intel i5-8600 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: RTX 2060 Super (8GB)
- DirectX: Version 12
- Storage: 100 GB available space
- Additional Notes: SSD Recommended
Recommended:

It’s interesting to note that Two Point Museum only requires 8 GB of memory, highlighting the differences in game sizes. Metal Gear Solid Delta uses Unreal 5 and its Lumen lighting technology, which may necessitate an RTX 2000-series or newer graphics card for ray tracing effects. The PC version also includes the Snake vs Monkey minigame with Ape Escape characters.
The game is set to be released on August 28th this year, being one of the most anticipated games of 2025.
