Experience the Mind-Blowing Time Travel Action of Tenet of the Spark – A Titanfall 2 Level on Steroids!

People often praise Titanfall 2’s campaign mode, especially for its standout time travel level. While I’m not a huge fan of shooters, this particular level caught my attention with its unique mechanics. Similarly, Dishonored 2’s time travel section intrigued me as well. Recently, I came across the trailer for a new game called Tenet of the Spark, which seems to be inspired by the time travel elements of Titanfall 2 and Dishonored 2.

Tenet of the Spark sets itself apart in a few ways. It focuses heavily on melee combat, including punching, hammering, and throwing knives. The game allows players to travel between three distinct time periods: modern day, the Viking age, and the Aztec era. What I find most exciting about the game is its consistent level design across all three periods, with changes in set dressing to reflect each era.

Interestingly, enemies remain in the same positions regardless of the time period, offering unique advantages and disadvantages in each setting. For example, the Viking era allows players to use objects as projectiles and wield a powerful hammer, while the Aztec period offers long-distance options with throwing knives.

The game’s stylish presentation is another highlight, with seamless environment transitions between time periods that enhance the gameplay experience. While Tenet of the Spark has been in development for some time, a release date has yet to be announced. If the game intrigues you, you can add it to your wishlist for updates.
