Exciting News: Backyard Baseball Launching on Mobile Without Annoying Ads!

Backyard Baseball Coming to Mobile Without Ads

Backyard Baseball is coming to mobile, and it won’t have ads. The game’s official social media account recently announced this exciting news, with a scheduled announcement set for March 27.

The official Backyard Sports account teased, “If you’re reading this, Backyard Sports is coming to mobile.” Subsequent posts confirmed that Backyard Baseball specifically will be part of this mobile release and assured fans that the game will be ad-free.

Last August, Playground Productions revealed the revival of the Backyard Sports brand after a long hiatus. The beloved kid-friendly sports series, popular from 1999 to 2015, has been making a comeback with remasters of classics like Backyard Baseball ’97 and Backyard Soccer ’98 in 2024.

The announcement date of March 27 aligns with the start of the new MLB season. While the Dodgers and Cubs kick off the season in Tokyo on March 18 and 19, the other 26 MLB teams will start their seasons on the traditional opening day, Thursday, March 27.

For those seeking the officially licensed MLB game, Sony’s MLB The Show 25 launches on March 18, with an early access option available now. Unlike previous versions on Game Pass, MLB The Show 25 requires a separate purchase and is not compatible with last-gen systems.
